Back to bitchin’ and moanin’ and pitchin’ a fit

I contemplated listening to one more rendition of ‘I Believe’, CTV’s Games anthem, but couldn’t do it. The Olympics are over so life must return to normal in Vancouver.  Feel-good self-congratulation is done.

Instead, I clicked on an old tune and heard twentieth century philosophers Don Henley and Glenn Frey say:

All this bitchin and moanin’ and pitchin’ a fit
Get over it! Get over it!

However, since rock music is an instrument of the devil, that can’t be right. Therefore, I shall resume the self-appointed role as one more bitchin’ and moanin’ blogger. To be honest though, lately I’ve been ignoring real news and grazing in the world of human interest stories.

Soon we’ll have Colin Hansen to kick around but, until he issues the BC Liberal’s third budget (Remarkable business managers aren’t they?) in the past year, politics will remain quiet. I’ll look elsewhere for a topic.

Stay tuned. it won’t be long.
