  1. TransLink paid at least $21 million for communication consultants from 2009 to 2013 and has a VP of communications making over $300K per year. It is interesting to note then that one of the main findings of cause made by an independent expert review of two critical failures of its SkyTrain system in 2014 that left thousands of passengers stranded for hours was a failure by TransLink to communicate with said passengers.

    The leapfrogging referenced by Norm at the end of this interview should have these executives leaping right out the door. Instead they’re asking us for even more money so the same players can keep playing the same game.
