Fareed Khan describes himself as a “human rights and anti-hate activist, fighting for justice for the oppressed and persecuted.” He has written and commented extensively about these issues.
Khan’s Substack account expresses his barely contained outrage about human rights topics. Some examples:
Comparing Gaza to the Holocaust exposes the hypocrisy of “never again” as Gaza’s horrors are largely ignored by those nations with the power to stop the sadistic brutality inflicted on Palestinians.
For decades the refrain of “never again” has rung hollow at annual Holocaust commemorations, where Western nations—Germany, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and others—solemnly vow to prevent another genocide. Yet, as these ceremonies took place over the past two years, a catastrophe of staggering proportions has ravaged Gaza, surpassing the Holocaust, not in body count but in its brazen visibility, prolonged generational agony, perverse victim-perpetrator inversion, and the complicity of Israel’s Western allies…
Death doesn’t make one a hero if they lived a life promoting hate and Canada’s MPs must understand this, and apologize for their lack of judgment.
In the halls of Canada’s House of Commons, where the nation’s leaders are supposed to embody values that represent Canada—inclusivity, equality, and common decency—something profoundly disturbing unfolded on September 15, 2025. On that day Conservative Member of Parliament Rachel Thomas rose during the Member’s Statements segment to deliver a tribute to recently assassinated American right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk. Thomas described Kirk as an “advocate for freedom,” urging her colleagues to “join our hearts with Charlie’s family” and stand against political violence while championing “faith, family, and freedom.”
What followed was a standing ovation—not just from the Conservatives, but from Liberal MPs as well. This wasn’t a mere moment of bipartisan unity against violence. It was a collective endorsement of a man whose life was defined by the propagation of fascist, racist, bigoted, and misogynistic ideologies…
Kirk’s allies have issued a chilling ultimatum, “mourn him properly or else”. For many in the US and beyond this looks like the death of free speech in the US in all but name.
As Canadians observe the turmoil unfolding in the United States, the assassination of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025 at Utah Valley University feels like a chilling milestone in the descent towards fascism we are witnessing in the United States. It is a trajectory that evokes the rise of Nazi Germany in the 1930s, and Canada stands as Austria, culturally and economically intertwined with the US, vulnerable to being subsumed by the same authoritarian ideology, if not annexed as the 51st state, an idea that Donald Trump has often floated since his return to the presidency…
Right wing rage about Charlie Kirk’s murder is revealing America’s fascist tilt
…Why are the lives of those killed on September 11, 2001 deemed more worthy of remembrance than the hundreds of thousands—possibly millions—of innocent civilians, predominantly Muslim, killed in the US-led wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the broader “War on Terror “? This selective mourning reveals a troubling double standard and Western societal prejudice that disregards the humanity of these forgotten victims and perpetuates a cycle of violence that has made the world less safe due to US actions and policies…
Fareed Khan covers many subjects, but they often relate to the persistence and tolerance of racism. In the ruling offices of Canada’s neighbour, racism is not tolerated; it is promoted.
I was struck by Khan’s comparison of Canada to Austria when fascism seized much of Europe decades ago. Despite my father and his family being Americans, the country of their birth scares me.

1/ Mr Trump (devout Christian chosen by God) visits the UN to declare that Christianity is “the most persecuted religion on the planet today.”
To summarize the teachings of Our Saviour…
“The Sermon on the Mount, recorded in Matthew 5-7, is a pivotal teaching of Jesus that emphasizes humility,
compassion, and love. Key themes include:”
“The Beatitudes: Blessings for those who embody virtues like humility and mercy.”
“The Kingdom of God: A call to live a life that reflects God’s values and seeks to do good.•
“Prayer and Forgiveness: Encouragement to pray without ceasing and to forgive others as God forgives us.”
“Discipleship: A call to be a light in the world and to build a community of faith.”
“This sermon serves as a foundational guide for Christian ethics, encouraging believers to live a life that is pleasing to God.”
During the Charlie Kirk memorial President Trump took issue with Mr Kirk’s religious misunderstanding.
“He did not hate his opponents he wanted the best for them,”
According to President Trump Charlie and Jesus were very wrong. (Too WOKE?)

“When Erika Kirk said she forgave her enemy, the audience stood and clapped and cried.”
“A few moments later, Trump said he disagreed and hated his enemy. The same audience stood up and cheered.””

I’m surprised that since the venue was an address to the UN General Assembly, Trump didn’t call for all religions to be persecuted equally.

That incident in the UN when the escalator stopped and the teleprompter froze?
https://crooksandliars.com/2025/09/fox-newss-jesse-watters-suggests-bombing
According to FOX NEWS host, Jesse Watters, it was blatant sabotage and constituted an Insurrection which must be countered by bombing the building, gassing the inhabitants, and demolishing the structure.
This from a “fair and balanced” network sued for $785 Million for defamation, whose reporter Mr. Kilmeade stated on camera that poor people should be exterminated by lethal injection. Desite evidence to the contrary FOX reporters were horrified by the thought that.

“But it turns out the escalator coming to a halt with Trump and his entourage on it was due to his own team, said a UN representative.”
“UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said in a statement that a videographer from the U.S. delegation who ran ahead of Trump triggered the stop mechanism at the top of the escalator.”
““The safety mechanism is designed to prevent people or objects accidentally being caught and stuck in or pulled into the gearing,” Dujarric said in a statement. “The videographer may have inadvertently triggered the safety function.””
“A UN official, speaking on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because of the sensitivity of the issue, attributed the teleprompter issue to Trump’s side as well, saying the White House was operating the teleprompter for the president.”
For promoting mass-homicide Mr. Kilmeade wasn’t fired but instead
