A note sent to the people who have enabled In-Sights to exists these past eight years:
Reader support is an important factor allowing and encouraging In-Sights to continue. Without it, the website wouldn’t exist.
I realize that appeals for financial contributions are constant in the online world and there are many sites deserving of our help. So, I want to express my sincere appreciation to you for deciding that In-Sights has been worthy of financial support during 2016 and 2017.
There has been a major change in British Columbia’s political landscape and I’m hopeful there will follow considerable improvements in government transparency and accountability. I conclude that alternative media sites like mine played an important role in encouraging change because only a few percentage points of BC voters needed to be convinced it was necessary
However, the prospect of lost power and influence has financial elites gathering money to conduct unprecedented misinformation campaigns. They will be assisted by a dependent corporate media that has grown too close and comfortable with the few people making political policy in our province. As I’ve pointed out repeatedly, resource industries gained billions through subsidies and tax reductions and they are willing to spend heavily to maintain those benefits.
In the transition period, it will be important for citizens to ensure that all points of view are heard and evaluated, not just the views of special interests. I aim to continue trying to provide a degree of balance and I expect a few people with special expertise will be joining the effort regularly
But, again, thank you. If there are subject areas or approaches that you’d like to see better covered at In-Sights, feel free to send an email. Reader feedback is always helpful.

I have noticed, Palmer Baldrey, Smyth, and Bill Boring working hard, using the MSM to proliferate their Herr Goebbels style of propaganda.
The likes of Postmedia, the Glacier Press and the Black press have suppressed stories of Liberal incompetence, graft, and financial crime.
CORUS refuses to allow the truth, and panders to the right with alternative facts and questionable truths.
“If you tell a BC Liberal lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The BC Liberal lie can be maintained only for such time as the Provincial government can shield the people from the political, economic and/or legal consequences of the BC Liberal lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the Provincial government to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the BC Liberal lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the Provincial government.”
The smell of fear is in the air; the smell of criminal prosecution and public humiliation.

Thank you to readers. Support that has come in this month enables me to travel to Fort St. John where I’ll meet with a variety of people and get a first-hand update on Site C. I’ll be travelling in early July and will report information here at In-Sights.
