I won’t post again on the platform owned by today’s leading promoter of fascism. Only psychopaths aim to revive a movement responsible for a conflict that left more than 50 million dead, mostly non-combatant civilians. Over a billion people were negatively affected by World War II.
My father and four uncles fought against this order in WW2. They survived, but like others, paid a lifelong price.
Psychopaths and sociopaths are promoting the 21st-century rise of fascism. Followers are as evil as the leaders. In 2025, authoritarians do not lurk in the shadows, they appear unashamedly on the public stage.
A dangerous organized crime family now controls most of the U.S. government. Like other criminals, they will cling to power and pay no attention to civil niceties, least of all free and democratic elections.
Canadians can do little but observe and hope that nature recalls the head of the crime family and the avaricious consigliere born in the apartheid state of South Africa. International economic and cultural sanctions helped end white minority rule in Pretoria. Those tools should be applied immediately against Trump’s and Musk’s USA.
Boycotts of X and Tesla would be a good beginning.

Fascism has never been far from the hearts of corporate America. Free labor and free acquisition has its particular appeal for capitalism.
The boycott word crossed my mind last night.
That a cabal that has surrounded the convicted felon, rapist, friend of pedophiles and serial liar in his extortion of power and concessions running the thinly disguised protection racket called America is not a surprise.
We will get trampled I fear. In a world view America is loosing it and the death throws are desperate and ugly. All is expendable in the pursuit of power.
When we were typified as a pettycoat on the whore of babylon it rang a bell for me. Our destinies are linked hand in hand on every level . We are geographic siamese twins with one heart. Our herculean efforts to repair the endless rot is all the evidence I need. We find huge differences. The world does not.
Simply our accepted recipe for success is the same recipe for climate collapse and the 6th great extinction. Drumpf is aligned with diagalon. He is an accelerationist and in charge.

The daily onslaught of repugnance emanating from Trump and his acolytes was predictable (everyone knows what he is), but is nonetheless hard to stomach. From the installation of individuals who should never, ever get close to the levers of power let alone into cabinet positions, to petty but dangerous acts like rescinding security protection for individuals who clearly require it (Anthony Fauci, John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, to name a few), the callous insults to stability just keep coming.
The really worrying thing is that these moves (installing incompetent lickspittles, removing oversight, and sending warnings to subordinates) are designed to facilitate what is to come. And it won’t be pretty. Trump attracts and is surrounded and supported by the worst of humanity. Think about how low they have to be to look up to him, and their potential for mayhem.
When Canada retaliates as it must for the pending tariffs, and prices and/or shortages rise in the U.S., Trump and his MAGA propaganda machine will point to us as the culprits. It’s a tried and trusted ploy. Invent an enemy. Soon the reason Canadians will stay away from the U.S. is liable to be fear for their personal safety, not a desire to withhold vacation or shopping dollars from Trump. Given his pardons of the violent Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and the like, how could a Canadian feel comfortable driving into Idaho, Montana, or Alabama with Canadian license plates and a Trump target on their back?
Are there sufficient numbers of the best of humanity within the institutions designed to protect the U.S. from the worst, like Elon and the Felon? We’re about to find out.

I never did Twitter, as I thought it was for twits and with now Musk as owner, it is time to ban the platform from Canada.
We are entering in a new age of evil, with the Mango Mussolini and sadly the USA is reverting back to its pre WW2 xenophobic roots and largely invented history.
The United States was really a schizophrenic country, which took immigrants and worked them to the bone for little pay to enrich the monied classes. Lynching were not uncommon as racism was the main religion and ‘blacks’ were seen as sub human and of little value.
The law only applied to who the establishment saw fit to punish; something for the tabloids to exploit and executions took on an unsavoury politcal/sexual nature and still does in many states.
It has been a gross mistake to think the US is our alleys, as our American hedge fund owned media try to repeat ad nauseam. Americans never study Canada and largely remain ignorant of Canada, but ruling elites despise Canada for we are, what the USA would have been, if they did not follow the revolutionaries, who were largely protecting the slave trade. The tax issue was nothing more than a canard as it was always about cheap labour.
Now the USA is saddled with a tyrant far, far worse than King George ever was.
And now the American military is faced with an ethical question, as many other military leaders have been; “do we overthrow the elected government to save the country?”.
We shall soon see.

For anyone wondering why all the Tech Bros gave millions to Trump’s inauguration and are tripping over each other to get his ear.
“US tech stocks got hammered Monday morning. Nvidia (NVDA), the leading supplier of AI chips, whose stock more than doubled in each of the past two years, fell 12%. Meta (META) and Alphabet (GOOGL), Google’s parent company, were also down sharply. Nvidia competitors Marvell, Broadcom, Micron and TSMC all fell sharply, too. Oracle (ORCL), Vertiv, Constellation, NuScale and other data center companies tumbled.”
“The news also sparked a huge change in investments in non-technology companies on Wall Street.
Energy companies had been traded up significantly higher in recent years because of the massive amounts of electricity needed to power AI data centers. But they all plummeted Monday. Constellation Energy (CEG), the company behind the planned revival of the Three Mile Island nuclear plant for powering AI, fell nearly 20% Monday. Competitors like Vistra fell 26% and GE Vernova was down 19%.
Futures for natural gas, used to power electricity generators, tumbled 9%. Oil fell more than 1%.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies also tumbled.”
