From the Globe and Mail, Tory MP’s former employer targeted by CRA over Swiss tax shelters:
While working as a banker more than 15 years ago, Conservative MP Andrew Saxton approved the transfer of hundreds of thousands of dollars to a Swiss bank account that a married couple is alleged to have used to hide income from tax collectors, a recent Federal Court document shows.
Oh dear, what is going on with the crème de la crème in North Vancouver. First, our MLA is arrested for drunk driving, then our MP’s name turns up in an investigation of Swiss bank accounts and tax trouble.
Like Sergeant Schultz, Saxton said, “I know nothing! I see nothing! NOTHING!”
