“And in 2010, as the Walton’s wealth has risen and most other Americans’ wealth declined, it is now the case that the Walton family wealth is as large as the bottom 48.8 million families in the wealth distribution (constituting 41.5 percent of all American families) combined…”

I read that the average Walmart employee earns less than $10,000 a year while the Walmart CEO earned $35,000,000 in a year. I remember when the typical ratio between top to bottom was 20 to 1. This is 3,500 to 1.

Corporate Socialism at it`s finest. There`s even people out there convinced to even vote for it, as we do in Canada. What a crazy planet.

truly the americans need a new tax system. it is just another good reason working people need unions. It is a good reason to not shop at walmart. Walmart, costs the taxpayers of the U.S.A. a lot of money, if 80% of their employees need to be on food stamps. People need to give their heads a shake. walmart is not a good corporate citizen.
