Belief in the BC Libs election promises is about as unrealistic as Rich Coleman donning a Santa suit, and talking about all the promises the Minister of Everything, has made in the past 3 years.

It is too bad Transport Canada Marine Safety doesn't regulate the number of people or the size and luxury of their main office.
The number of ship's crew has remained more or less static, the number of ships sailing on the number of locations are about the same but the number of “no value added” free loaders has more than tripled.
BC Ferries needs to get some common sense sailors with an eye for business in the office not out of touch MBA's.
The old age pensioner's money is going to save BC Ferries but the greed at the top is not a concern.
I bet the CEO is ready to jump ship and let someone else feed off the taxpayers.

This reminds me of the Liberal candidate in our recent election said that he thinks the ferries are part of the transportation system. The free enterprise types will say anything to get elected but they cannot make a connection to reality. They just do not care and are to blame for the bad state of this province.
