Sacha Baron Cohen, on Facebook

A comedian says he speaks as his “least popular character, Sacha Baron Cohen.”

Says Mr. Cohen:

Half of my comedy has been absolutely juvenile; and the other half completely puerile.

No, not really.

This is a much longer version of Cohen’s speech to the Anti-Defamation League:

Rights are threatened by hate, conspiracies and lies… The ultimate aim of society should be to make sure people are not targeted, not harassed, and not murdered because of who they are, where they come from, who they love, or how they pray...

  1. Was interesting to see the real person on Colbert the other night. Won’t be able to watch the movie.
    He wakes people up.
Democracy requires constant supervision and vigilance. Us older ones have seen ‘journalism’ vanish as partisan media replaces it. The younger ones think what is happening now is status quo as it’s all they have ever experienced. They have no frame of reference for the change from journalism to propaganda.
Critical thinking skills are more valuable than ever before since the web gave everyone a platform.
Best Wishes that you and yours are doing ok and safe in these most interesting times.
