Universal Dignity includes:
Clean air, water, soil, and a functioning global ecosystem. Nutritious food. Warm clothing. Safe shelter. Medical and pharmaceutical care. Dental, eye, and ear care. Child care. Hygiene products. Birth control. Public transit. Internet access. Post-secondary education…
No one should be trapped in a toxic dead-end relationship, domestic or occupational. Everyone must be free to take chances to improve themselves, the people they love, and the planet.
Opulent lifestyles and consumer junk that fills landfills would be secondary, if we truly valued making the world better for everyone.
Money must not obstruct access to a good or service required for dignity.
How about we just make the extremely wealthy pay sufficient taxes so that these goods and services are accessible to everyone including people without money?
Then we can get rid of minimum wage and most other social welfare programs… It’ll pay for itself in reduced crime rates and ER visits.
Indignity is expensive!
